BBQ Pete

My brother liked feeding goats.

I had bigger ideas!

​  One year for my birthday my sister Amy bought me a bottle of BBQ sauce, (Because Why Not!)
  that bottle of sauce came with some very simple instructions.. Indirect grill the ribs, then sauce and wrap in foil to steam, then indirect to caramelize the sauce. I shared that rack with my wife, her dad and a couple of friends. They raved about them. Maybe not because they were the best ribs ever, But more so because they were actually really good and I made them! People started requesting to come over for my ribs. And I learned that making people happy with food was fun!!!
​ So I started my quest to learn how to BBQ.

    My wife Angela and I owned our own BBQ catering business for a couple of years. We had a blast doing it and people loved our food. However we soon learned that it was not going to work as a part time gig and we weren't ready to quit our jobs. So we now just do it for fun and an occasional family or friends event.
